ADJ is the retractable ladder designed to connect secondary rooms such as attics or lofts to the main rooms of the house easily and safely.

Quality details

The ADJ trapdoor ladder consists of 11 steps and a mobile structure, made of pressed steel 15/10, painted black, with shock-absorbing springs for easy opening and closing, handles on the trapdoor for easier exit, and a handrail on the right side.

The box is made of 10/10 galvanized steel sheets while the panel of the trapdoor is made of high-grade poplar plywood (with a thickness of 15 mm) and certified for minimum formaldehyde emission  according to European standards (Class E1; law UNI EN 13986:2005).

Handy and versatile

Thanks to its folding system, the trap door with retractable ladder can be opened and closed easily with a single movement and requires no great physical strength, which makes it practical to use for all family members.

Compared to other vertical retractable stairs, ADJ is available in a great variety of sizes so as to fit to different housing needs.

Different accessories for every need

To meet all needs in regards to architecture and comfort, ADJ offers various accessories. For example, it is possible to insulate the trapdoor so as to reduce energy loss to a minimum thanks to a panel insulation kit and to a special “Termocover” hood.

To ensure greater safety, furthermore, and make climbing easier it is possible to install a telescopic handrail even on the left side of the ladder.

And those who wish to have a more minimalist look, ADJ can be found even in the zinc-plated version.

Finally, ADJ is available even as a wall retractable ladder for vertical access.
