Railings for indoor environments can be made in a wide range of finishes: painted steel, chrome steel, wrought iron or stainless steel.
If instead the railing will be installed in outdoor environments such as balconies or terraces, and therefore subjected to different weather conditions, Rintal recommends the purchase of outdoor railings in 316 polished stainless steel (also known as ‘marine steel’) as this is particularly resistant to the most adverse weather conditions.
Other material not suitable for outdoor uses may be damaged over time, ruining the aesthetics of the railing.
